Common questions about financing.
What's the minimum lease deposit?
Most of our bank partners require 10% down on the lease. For some new-car packages on BAIC and FODAY we can structure 0%–5% deposit promotions, subject to a slightly higher monthly instalment and credit approval.
How long does lease approval take?
Pre-approval usually takes 24 hours. Final approval and disbursement typically clear within 48–72 hours once we have your payslips, ID, and licence in hand.
Can I take over an existing car lease?
Yes. If you're paying above 9% APR elsewhere, we can usually refinance you onto a fresh lease with one of our partner banks. Bring your existing lease statement and we'll compute the savings on the spot.
Do you accept trade-ins as a lease deposit?
Absolutely. Drive in your current car, we'll valuate it in about 30 minutes, and the trade-in value goes straight against the new lease as your deposit.
What if I'm self-employed?
Bring your business registration, last 6 months of bank statements, and recent tax returns. We work with all major banks that specifically lease to self-employed Mauritians.
Is insurance included in the lease?
Comprehensive insurance is mandatory for leased vehicles and is not bundled in the monthly payment by default. We can quote you on the spot through our insurance partners or you're free to use your own broker.
